Calle Arbolitos | 2019

Arete homes of Santa Fe built the homes in their Arbolitos at Las Estrellas community to take full advantage of the incredible views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. When I staged the showhome for this community, I brought in low furniture that wouldn’t inhibit the views, encouraging their full appreciation. The home had a lot of angles and corners, both due to the shape of the home and the modern aesthetic. It was important to bring balance by using softer elements like curved dining chairs, a tufted sofa, and softly textured armchairs.

The grays and golds in the color palette I used play off the dark wood finishes in the home, creating a cohesive color story that moves from room to room. To give buyers ideas on how to use the space, I placed a gathering-ready bar cart just outside the kitchen, along with a coffee station on the kitchen countertop.
